Getting Started
How do I sign in?
Muscle Mirror uses Sign in with Apple. Tap the Sign In button on the welcome screen and authenticate with your Apple ID. No separate username or password required.
Is Muscle Mirror free?
Yes — download and use Muscle Mirror for free on the App Store.
What iPhone models are supported?
Muscle Mirror requires iOS 16 or later and works on any iPhone that supports it.
Photos & Camera
How does the ghost overlay camera work?
When you open the camera, tap the ghost icon to select a previous photo as your reference. It will appear as a semi-transparent overlay on your camera view so you can match your pose and framing exactly before taking a new shot.
Where are my photos stored?
Your photos are uploaded to secure, encrypted cloud storage (Amazon S3) and are only accessible to you via signed, time-limited URLs. They are never publicly accessible.
Can I delete a photo?
Yes. Tap and hold any photo in the app to delete it. The photo is removed from your library immediately and permanently deleted from our servers shortly after.
Comparisons
How do I compare two photos?
Open a pose category, select two photos, and tap Compare. Use the scrubber to swipe between them, or switch to Overlay or Flip mode using the controls at the bottom of the screen.
What is Flip mode?
Flip mode mirrors one of the photos horizontally so you can compare your left side to your right side — useful for checking symmetry.
Coach Check-Ins
How do I connect with a coach?
Ask your coach for their invite code. Enter it in the app under Settings → Connect to Coach. Once connected, you can submit check-ins directly to them.
What does my coach see?
Coaches can only see check-in submissions you explicitly send — your attached photos, measurements, and notes. They cannot browse your full photo library.
I am a coach. How do I use Muscle Mirror with my athletes?
Email us at coaches@musclemirror.app and we will get you set up with a coach account.
Account & Privacy
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Delete Account inside the app. All your photos and personal data will be permanently deleted within 60 seconds. This cannot be undone.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
I forgot which Apple ID I used. What do I do?
Email us at support@musclemirror.app with your name and we will help you locate your account.
